Large Response Area for Limited Ambulance Service

Did you know that the the Lebanon Fire District provides ambulance service to all of Lebanon, Brownsville, and part of Scio?

We have two full time ambulances to serve more than 400 square miles and over 40,000 people. We are one of the busiest fire departments in the state of Oregon.

Several times per day, both our ambulances are tied up on calls. When a third call comes in we rely on our neighboring agencies like Albany and Sweet Home to respond. Unfortunately, this can add 20 minutes or more to response time.

When seconds count, this can mean the difference between life and death.
