Another Busy Ambulance Day in Lebanon

Did you know that when a person experiences cardiac arrest, each minute care is delayed decreases their chances of survival by 7-10 percent?

11 hours into our 24 hour shift, Lebanon Fire District already had 20 calls for service and been without an available ambulance for emergency response 9 separate times.

That means that if you or a loved one experiences a medical emergency, an ambulance will be responding from Albany or Sweet Home which can delay response times by anywhere from 15-30 minutes.

This can dramatically decrease patient outcomes and survivability rates. The Lebanon Fire District currently staffs 2 full-time ambulances and responds to approximately 7000 calls for service each year.
